Kaziranga National Park 2025 Opening Dates & Schedule
As per the official notification, the opening of Kaziranga National Park for tourist access will proceed in phases. Visitors are advised to plan their travel based on the following schedule:
- Bagori Range (Jeep Safari): Operations will start from today, September 26, 2025.
- Kohora Range / Central Range (Jeep Safari): Scheduled to open to the public during the second week of October 2025.
- Elephant Safari Operations: Are scheduled to begin on November 1, 2025, in designated zones.
Opening Dates for Additional National Parks in Northeast India
In addition to Kaziranga, other significant wildlife sanctuaries in the region will resume operations for the tourist season. The projected opening dates are as follows:
- Manas National Park (Assam): Expected to reopen in early October 2025.
- Nameri National Park (Assam): Scheduled to open in late October or early November 2025.
- Dibru-Saikhowa National Park (Assam): While accessible by boat year-round, optimal land-based safari conditions begin post-monsoon in October.
- Namdapha National Park (Arunachal Pradesh): Access for tourism is expected to resume from mid-October 2025.
